Shyness robs people of opportunities in life. And while many children outgrow shyness with time, for those of us who carry our shyness forward into adulthood, life becomes one series of missed opportunities after another. Anything you can do to ease your child's shyness will, in turn, decrease the number of opportunities your child misses over the course of his/her life. And that is truly a gift. This month in the Think Family section we explain ways by which you can help your Shy Child to become more social.
Your endocrine system is a system of glands throughout your body that release essential hormones to keep your body fine-tuned to function well In the Think Health section, we bring for you an article on Your Hormones and how to take care of them.

Baisakhi is celebrated as a harvest festival by the large farming community in the states of Punjab and Haryana. Since Baisakhi falls in the middle of the month of April (April 13), Baisakhi marks the harvest time of the rabi (winter) crops. Farmers are are in full mood and spirit to enjoy the fruits of hard work as they celebrate Baisakhi Festival As the celebration of Baisakhi is knocking on our door we wish that all are blessed with the golden harvests of joy.

Here’s wishing all our Readers a very Happy Holi. Holi signals the change of season marking the advent of spring. It is an occasion to forget all differences of caste, creed and religion and share feelings of mutual love and goodwill.
In this edition we are including Two Minute Management Reflections, Learn by Reading, By Dr. Promod Batra, these will become a regular feature in the months to come.

all our readers become HEP
in the coming year, it will be our pleasure to bring articles which will educate
us on all three aspects of HEP.
In the first month of the year we are pleased to include an article on integrity
in the Think You section. According to Webster’s Dictionary, integrity
is “a firm adherence to a code of moral or artistic values.” To
us, integrity goes hand-in-hand with character and honesty. Integrity is what
compels you to do the right thing all the time. The Think Family section also
includes an article about, Walking the talk with your children.
Keeping adherence to the HEP
concept, this year we will include an article every month on Health which will
educate all of us on how to become healthier, which is one of the most important
